Flexi Soft software programmable safety controllers

The Flexi Soft range of safety controllers from SICK is extremely scalable and adaptable. The Flexi Soft safety controller is software programmable and features a modular hardware platform enabling the controller to provide bespoke solutions for various safety applications.

Features include expansion modules, motion control modules and gateways for all common fieldbuses
All of the configuration data is stored within the system plug and the controller can provide safe networking up to 32 Flexi Soft Stations
Features integration of sensor cascade
Supports multiple languages and is easy to configure, operate and record data

Flexi Soft Main Unit – FX3-CPU000000 (Part no: 1043783)

The Flexi Soft range of safety controllers by SICK are programmable, modularly expandable and easily integrable into various networks. The memory plug of the FX3-CPU stores the safety logic programming within which all input signals are monitored and processed. The FLEX BUS+ interface links all the modules and uses the input signals received to control system outputs.

The Flexi Soft Designer will upload and adjust device settings using an RS-232 interface on the main unit. The RS-232 port may be used for permanent diagnosis for your PLC and HMI as well. Supports various logical and application specific functions. Allows integration into existing PLC with up to 2 gateways that provides I/O status and Error/Status messaging. Each gateway supports at least 50 bytes of incoming and outgoing information.
