The transformer enabled low voltage filament lamps to be supplied from higher control voltages with the benefit of extended lamp life through a small under voltage.To this day, the transformer lamp remains a major product of Tranilamp, but their range has been greatly extended to include other kinds of indicator lamps, LED clusters bulbs, pushbutton switches, rotary switches and transformers.
